SITUATIONS VACANT
Applications on prescribed proforma are invited from suitable candidates for the following post on a contract basis for the period of two years against the competitive lump sum pay package under the Election Commission of Pakistan through the Online Recruitment System and P.O. Box No.1418, GPO, Islamabad:

Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Law, preferably LLM from a recognized University.
Experience:

Minimum experience as an Advocate: 10 years, including 8 years' experience in the High Court, and have personally contested 20 cases in the High Court (excluding family or rent cases).
OR
Retired Additional Sessions Judge.
Age Limit (Years):

Up to 40 years, relaxable in suitable cases.
OR
Maximum age limit up to 65 years for Retired Additional Sessions Judge.
Number of Posts: 01 (one)
Domicile: Merit
Place of Posting: Liable to serve anywhere in Pakistan where such a post exists

INSTRUCTIONS:
Relaxation in the upper age limit of five years over and above the prescribed age limit will be given as per Initial Appointment to Civil Posts (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1993.

Applicants who apply through the online recruitment system are also required to submit their applications in hard form.
Hard copy of the application on the following prescribed format along with CVs and attested copies of all relevant educational documents, Bar Card, Licenses of District Courts & High Courts, and experience certificate as a practicing lawyer from the concerned Bar Council including a list of personally contested 20 cases in the High Court (excluding family or rent cases), CNIC, one recent passport-size photograph & domicile should reach through P.O. Box number 1418 within 30 days of publication of this advertisement on the address clearly mentioning on the envelope the name of the position applied for.
Applicants must attach the attested general applications as cover notes along with the hard copies of the documents.
Applications received after the cut-off date shall not be entertained.
No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test/interview. Only short-listed candidates will be called for the test/interview.
The Authority reserves the right to cancel the process of recruitment of the advertised post partially or totally.
The applicant is, however, liable to serve anywhere in the country where such post(s) exists.
