About Pakistan Cricket Board

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is responsible for the promotion and development of cricket across Pakistan. It manages and regulates cricketing activities to maintain the highest standards of the game in the country.

Position Overview: Director High Performance

PCB is seeking an enthusiastic and visionary individual to lead and develop the future of cricket in Pakistan. The role involves close collaboration with Heads of Academies and Coaches, ensuring a consistent supply of talented players for the National Team.

Required Education and Experience

  • Coaching Accreditation: Minimum Level III Cricket Coaching Accreditation or an equivalent international certification.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 15 years of experience in administration and/or coaching.

    • Minimum 5 years in a senior executive leadership role, specifically managing an elite high-performance sports program.

    • Former Test or International Cricketers will be given preference.

    • Proven experience in developing strategic frameworks for world-class athlete development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development Projects:
    Conceptualize and implement initiatives for High-Performance Centers, academies, and player development pathways as approved by the Board.

  • Budgeting and Financial Oversight:

    • Prepare annual budgets for game development and High-Performance Centers.

    • Monitor and control expenditures effectively.

  • Training and Development:

    • Oversee quality coaching and training for National, A, U-19, and U-16 teams.

    • Organize lectures and mentorship sessions with cricket legends.

  • Infrastructure and Resources:

    • Maintain and upgrade libraries and cricket archives.

    • Arrange coach education and certification programs.

  • Staff Development:

    • Promote the hiring and training of competent coaches, physios, doctors, and trainers.

Competency Requirements

  • Strong skills in planning, organization, and execution.

  • Ability to design effective team and individual skill enhancement strategies.

  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

  • Proficient in written and verbal communication.

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
