NADRA is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for the following position:

Position: Director General Procurement

Maximum Age: 55 Years

Educational Background

  • Required Qualification:
    • 16 years of education in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent field from an HEC recognized university.

Professional Experience, Skills & Competencies

  • Experience:
    • A minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in a senior-level procurement management role.
  • Required Skills:
    • Expertise in undertaking large-scale, diversified, and technology-oriented procurement assignments.
    • Strong familiarity with PPRA Rules and proven ability to apply them effectively in practice.
    • Extensive experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and vendor management, particularly within Government and Semi-Government Departments.
    • In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends, and regulatory frameworks.
    • Understanding of World Bank and international organizations' procurement guidelines.
    • Proficiency in data analysis and decision-making.
    • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
    • Familiarity with technology-related procurement.

  • Location: Islamabad

Terms & Conditions

  1. The selected candidate will initially be hired for a contract period of 5 years (extendable if required).
  2. Management reserves the right to accept or reject any application without providing a reason.
  3. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
  4. Any candidate providing false information will be disqualified.
  5. A 5-year age relaxation is already included in the maximum age limit mentioned above.
  6. The selected candidate must provide Medical Fitness and Character Certificates.
  7. Employees currently serving in Government or Semi-Government departments must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of application submission.
  8. No TA/DA will be admissible.
  9. Attested degrees from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) must be provided at the time of the interview. In the case of a foreign degree, an equivalency certificate from HEC must also be submitted.
  10. Female, minority, transgender, and differently-abled candidates are encouraged to apply.
  11. Electronic gadgets, mobile phones, smartwatches, etc., will not be allowed during the interview.
  12. The deadline for application submission is 5th September 2024, and only online applications will be accepted.
  13. In addition to standard administrative procurements, candidates must be particularly well-versed in technology-related acquisitions, developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
