APPOINTMENT OF THE DIRECTOR GENERAL, PAKISTAN AIRPORTS AUTHORITY (DG PAA)

The Government of Pakistan invites applications from dynamic, experienced, and high-caliber professionals for the position of Director General, Pakistan Airports Authority (DG PAA). The required qualifications, experience, age limit, and other terms of appointment are outlined below:

Minimum Qualification and Experience

For Candidates from the Service of Pakistan:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a university or institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
  2. Experience:
    • 25 years of overall experience in management and administration.
    • 3 years as a head of an administrative department of a Provincial Government, attached department or Division of the Federal Government, a regulatory authority under any of these Governments, or in enforcing regulatory, local, or special laws.
    • 3 years of experience in public procurement or direct supervision of public procurement.
    • 4 years of experience in estate management of public properties.
  3. Current Position: Must be serving in Basic Scale 21, equivalent, or above in the service of Pakistan.
  4. Maximum Age Limit: 57 years on the date of assumption of charge of office.

For Candidates from the Service of the Pakistan Airports Authority:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a university or institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
  2. Experience:
    • 25 years of service in the Authority, Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority, or both.
    • 3 years of experience in public procurement or direct supervision of public procurement.
  3. Current Position: Must be serving as Director, equivalent, or above in the Authority.
  4. Maximum Age Limit: 57 years on the date of assumption of charge of office.

Emoluments

The salary, allowances, and other terms and conditions of service of the Director General PAA, including key performance indicators for the effective discharge of duties, will be determined by the appointing authority.

Tenure

The selected candidate will be appointed for a term of three (3) years.
