Career Opportunity: Deputy Manager Finance

The National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA), Pakistan's premier conservatoire, offers a comprehensive three-year Diploma program in Theatre Arts and Music. Established in 2004 under section 42 of the Companies Ordinance 1984 (now Companies Act 2017), NAPA is dedicated to nurturing talent in the performing arts.

Position: Deputy Manager Finance

NAPA is seeking a qualified and motivated Deputy Manager Finance to join its Finance Department. The role involves supporting the General Manager Finance in overseeing daily financial operations in line with established guidelines and regulations. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in Taxation Laws and government regulations, with a keen understanding of the financial needs of educational institutions and nonprofits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day financial activities in accordance with approved guidelines.
  • Handle budgeting, forecasting, and taxation, ensuring compliance with local laws.
  • Utilize accounting software and ERP systems for financial management.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, and taxation, preferably within educational institutions or nonprofits.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • A graduate degree in Finance; a CA or ACCA qualification is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in local taxation and procurement rules.
  • A strong appreciation for the arts and a commitment to supporting cultural and artistic activities.
