JOB OPPORTUNITY

The Private Power and Infrastructure Board (PPIB), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), Government of Pakistan, is seeking applications from dynamic, motivated, and self-driven professionals for the position of Deputy Director (Solar) on a merit basis.

Position: Deputy Director (Solar)

Location: Islamabad
Organization: Private Power and Infrastructure Board (PPIB)

QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Educational Qualifications:

  • A professional degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical) from an HEC-recognized local or foreign institution.
  • An MBA qualification would be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in the energy or renewable power sector.
  • Preference will be given to candidates having expertise in the following areas:
    • Solar PV technology: Knowledge of solar photovoltaic (PV) technology, system design, and performance optimization.
    • Financial Modeling: Experience in financial modeling for solar projects, including cost-benefit analysis and funding mechanisms.
    • Project Management: Hands-on experience in project planning, execution, and management within the renewable energy sector.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, compliance standards, and legal requirements for solar energy projects in Pakistan.
    • Technical & Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, report writing, data analysis, and communication skills.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
  2. Compensation & Benefits:
