MEDICAL TEACHING INSTITUTION HAYATABAD MEDICAL COMPLEX - PESHAWAR

VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Position: Dean MTI-HMC/KGMC and Affiliate/Constituent Institutes

Applications are invited for the position of Dean for MTI-HMC/KGMC and its affiliate/constituent institutes. Below are the detailed criteria and conditions for the position:

Qualification

  • A medical academic of national or international repute with either:
    • A Ph.D. degree, or
    • A medical qualification such as MBBS or its equivalent, plus a higher diploma such as FCPS, FRCP, FRCS, or a US Board certification (or equivalent).

Gender

  • Male/Female

Term

  • Five (05) years

Experience

  • Minimum of seven (07) years of administrative experience with recognized leadership qualities in a position such as:
    • Chairman
    • Head of a department/unit/program/institution
  • Proven track record in teaching, with documentary evidence of academic achievements (e.g., degrees, diplomas).

Terms & Conditions

  1. Application Submission
    Applications must be submitted with complete bio-data, academic/experience certificates, domicile certificates, and two recent passport-sized photographs.

    • Bank Draft or Payment Order of Rs. 2,000 in favor of the Hospital Director, MTI-HMC, must be attached.
    • Applications should reach the Office of the Secretary, Board of Governors, MTI-HMC, within 15 working days from the first date of the advertisement.

  2. Application Form

    • The form is available on the HMC website: www.mckp.gov.cy.
    • The bank draft or payment order of Rs. 2,000 must be submitted in favor of the Hospital Director MTI-HMC or through direct deposit in Bank of Khyber, HMC Branch, Receipt account, Branch Code 0185, A/C Number PLS 00060-00-2.

  3. Submission Deadline

    • Applications must be submitted in person or through registered courier service before the closing date.

  4. Service Conditions

    • The selected candidate's services will be governed under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical & Teaching Institutions Reform Act 2015 (as amended) and MTI Regulations 2022 (as amended).

  5. Government Servants

    • In-service candidates or retired government servants must comply with relevant government rules and regulations.
    • Applications from civil servants must be routed through the proper channel and include NOCs from the competent authorities.

  6. Rejection of Late Applications

    • Applications received after the closing time and date will be rejected.

  7. Incomplete Applications

    • Incomplete applications may be rejected. However, aggrieved candidates can appeal to the competent authority (Board of Governors of HMC) for review.

  8. Disqualification

    • A candidate will be disqualified or excluded from the interview if:
      • Convicted by a court of law
      • Dismissed from public service
      • Submitted false or forged documents
      • Provided incomplete or misleading information
      • Attempted to gain support for their candidature by improper means
      • Submitted fake certificates or tampered with entries in age and academic records

  9. Documents

    • Original documents must be presented at the time of the interview.

  10. No TADA

    • No Travel Allowance or Daily Allowance (TADA) will be provided for the interview.

  11. Right to Cancel

    • The competent authority (Board of Governors) reserves the right to cancel the advertisement or selection process entirely and re-advertise the position if necessary.
