Qualification Requirements

  • Academic Qualifications: Must hold a PhD in a relevant field, or an MBBS or equivalent medical qualification with a higher diploma (e.g., FCPS, FRCP, FRCS, or U.S. Board certification).
  • Reputation: Should have national and preferably international recognition in the relevant field, which could be in basic or clinical sciences.

Experience Requirements

  • Experience: At least 7 years as the head of a department, unit, program, or institute.
  • Additional Qualifications: Strong commitment to medical education, teaching experience, and research contributions.

Key Responsibilities

As defined by the policy board regulations for the Medical School Dean.
