HIRING OF STAFF

The Government of Punjab is implementing the Punjab Human Capital Investment Project with assistance from the World Bank. The project aims to enhance access to quality health services and economic and social inclusion programs for poor and vulnerable households in selected districts of Punjab. Under this project, PMIU-PESRP invites applications from suitable candidates with relevant experience and qualifications for the following positions:

1. Database Analyst

  • Number of Posts: 2
  • Qualifications:
    • Sixteen (16) years of education in Computer Science or Information Technology from a foreign or local university, recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
    • Additional certifications or diplomas such as SQL, Database Administration, Advanced Analysis, or related certifications will be given due weightage.
  • Experience:
    • At least four (04) years of documentary verifiable experience as a Database Analyst after obtaining the required qualifications.
    • Experience in software development and programming languages, relational databases (SQL, SQL Express, SQL Server), database tuning, .NET, IIS (Internet Information Services), and Visual Studio for performance optimization.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and software for quantitative and qualitative analysis (e.g., AXQDA, Advanced Excel).
    • Familiarity with research methods, including both quantitative and qualitative research.
    • Strong written and oral fluency in English.

2. Field Officer

  • Number of Posts: 1
  • Qualifications:
    • Sixteen (16) years of education in Development Studies, Business Administration, Public Policy, Social Policy, Economics, Public Administration, or a relevant discipline from a foreign or local university recognized by HEC.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) or any relevant certification will be given due weightage.
  • Experience:
    • At least eight (08) years of documentary verifiable relevant experience in the public and/or private sector or national/international organizations, preferably in education, early childhood education (ECE), and/or monitoring and evaluation, after acquiring the required qualifications.
    • Skills in team building, human resource management, project management, implementation, planning, and design of large-scale government or donor-funded programs.
    • Understanding of the public sector and broader educational challenges in Pakistan.
    • Experience in implementing projects in the field and coordinating with various stakeholders.

3. Receptionist

  • Number of Posts: 1
  • Qualifications:
    • At least fourteen (14) years of education in business, humanities, natural and applied sciences, social sciences, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized national or international university.
  • Experience:
    • At least two (02) years of post-qualification experience in the public or private sector.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Excellent communication skills.
  • Age Limit: 40 years
