Non-Teaching Position Announcement

Applications are invited for the following non-teaching position at Government College University, Hyderabad. Interested candidates must submit their applications on the prescribed form, accompanied by attested photocopies of all relevant documents and a Demand Draft/Pay Order of Rs. 4000/- (non-refundable) as a processing fee in favor of the Director Finance, Government College University Hyderabad. The complete application should be submitted to the undersigned by October 2, 2024.

The prescribed application form can be downloaded from the University’s official website www.gcuh.edu.pk/career or can be collected from the Office of HR, Government College University Hyderabad.
Candidates who have already submitted the processing fee in response to previous advertisements do not need to resubmit the fee but must provide updated documents.

Non-Teaching Position Details

Position Title: Controller of Examinations (BPS-19)
Required Qualification & Experience:

  • 16 years of education in First Class or equivalent qualification.
  • 12 years of teaching/administrative experience with examinations experience in BPS-17 or equivalent at the University level.
  • Familiarity with the Rules & Regulations of Examinations is essential.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience as a Controller/Deputy Controller in conducting university examinations.

Instructions / Further Information

  1. Only candidates holding Sindh Province domicile are eligible to apply.
  2. Applicants working in Government/Semi-Government and autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel, submitting a NOC from their employer. They are responsible for ensuring proper release from their departments.
  3. The maximum age limit for applicants is 45 years as of the closing date, with age relaxation as per government policy.
  4. Incomplete applications, those missing required documents (educational, professional, or experience certificates), processing fees, or those submitted after the deadline, will not be considered.
  5. The University reserves the right to cancel the advertised position(s), either partially or entirely, at any stage without providing a reason.
  6. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for tests/interviews. Non-eligible candidates will not be notified.
  7. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview or written test.
  8. Any attempt to influence the selection process will disqualify the candidate.
