Advertisement for Recruitment of Constables and Band Staff for Punjab Highway Patrol

Recruitment for the vacant positions of Band Staff in Punjab Highway Patrol, numbered 07, including the applicable allowances, for appointment in Punjab Highway Patrol. The following criteria are required for candidates who wish to apply:

  1. Age:

    • Minimum 18 years, Maximum 25 years.

  2. Eligibility Criteria:

    • For Male Candidates:
      • Minimum height: 5 feet 7 inches.
    • For Female Candidates:
      • Minimum height: 5 feet 2 inches.

  3. Chest Measurement:

    • Minimum 33x34 inches (For Male Candidates only).

  4. Residence:

    • Candidates must be residents of Punjab and possess a valid National Identity Card.

  5. Education:

    • Minimum qualification of FA/FSc (Second Division) from an accredited board.

  6. Physical Fitness:

    • For Male Candidates:
      • 1.6 kilometers to be completed in 7 minutes.
    • For Female Candidates:
      • 1.6 kilometers to be completed in 10 minutes.

  7. Experience:

    • Knowledge and experience of maintenance of different vehicles and band-specific instruments.

  8. Band Instruments Required:

    • Harmonica (EB), Clarinet, Side Drum, Tabla, Bb Cornet, Pipe, Sitar, Saxophone, Trumpet.

Completed application forms, along with required documents and a fee of Rs. 200 (non-refundable), must be submitted to the Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) regional offices from 07.02.2025 to 21.02.2025.

No relaxation will be provided in terms of age, education, or any other criteria for candidates. Employees of government and semi-government departments should submit their applications through proper channels before the deadline.

Special consideration will be given to minority candidates, with 5 positions reserved. Female candidates will be considered for 158 seats.

Physical and Medical Requirements: Candidates' height and chest measurements will be checked. Written tests and skills assessments will be conducted. Any discrepancy or fraudulent documentation discovered during the verification process will result in disqualification and legal action.

Only shortlisted candidates who pass the physical measurements and tests will be considered for further stages of recruitment, including the medical board.

Recruitment may be canceled at any stage, and no appeals will be entertained in any court or forum.
