COMMISSIONER - SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION OF PAKISTAN

The Finance Division invites applications from dynamic and high-caliber professionals for one (01) position as Commissioner at the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). Below are the qualifications, experience, age limit, and other conditions for appointment.

Position Criteria

  1. Education

    • Master’s degree from a recognized institute in Corporate Law, Economics, MBA (Accounting & Finance), Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost and Management Accountant (CMA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Associate Chartered Accountants (ACA) from ICAEW.
    • A minimum of 10 years of diverse, regulatory experience in Securities and Financial Markets, Insurance, or Industry.
    • Preference will be given to candidates with qualifications from prestigious, high-ranking foreign institutes.

  2. Professional Competency

    • Must demonstrate integrity, ability, and a proven track record of managing issues related to Securities Markets and their administration.

  3. Age Limit

    • Maximum of 62 years at the time of appointment.

Compensation

  • Salary: Attractive package as per policy.

Tenure

  • Duration: Three (03) years term.

Conditions for Joining

Candidates currently employed in Government Departments, Semi-Government Departments, International Financial Institutions, Multilateral Organizations, Inter-Governmental Organizations, NGOs, Autonomous or Semi-Autonomous Bodies, and the private sector must resign from their current positions before joining if selected.

Mandatory: Submission of resignation acceptance from the previous job is required before assuming the new role.
