1. Dean of Academic Affairs

The Dean of Academic Affairs will be responsible for overseeing the academic operations of Commecs College during a transformative period. This role is critical for ensuring a positive academic experience and outcomes. The Dean will oversee student growth, campus expansion, and the development of new verticals for the College.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead transformation initiatives within academic areas.

  • Provide visionary leadership fostering academic excellence and innovation.

  • Oversee faculty recruitment, development, and evaluation.

  • Promote technology integration and innovative teaching methods.

  • Develop strategies to enhance student placements in universities and careers.

  • Build partnerships with universities, industry leaders, and other stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.

  • Design and oversee programs that enhance entrepreneurship and freelancing skills.

2. Associate Dean, Core Curriculum

The Associate Dean of Core Curriculum will ensure the development and improvement of the core curriculum. This role involves collaborating with faculty and academic leadership to maintain alignment with institutional goals and accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the refinement of the core curriculum in alignment with academic goals.

  • Oversee design, delivery, and assessment of core courses ensuring academic rigor and innovation.

  • Support faculty in course development and offer professional training on curriculum best practices.

  • Foster interdisciplinary collaboration in curriculum development.

  • Develop students' analytical, reasoning, and communication skills.

  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and stay updated with requirements.

3. Associate Dean, Skills Development

The Associate Dean of Skills Development will focus on enhancing students' foundational skills and preparing them for placement tests. The role will involve overseeing skill development programs in areas like Computer Science and other emerging fields.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote the use of modern teaching methodologies and AI-driven assessments.

  • Develop strategies to improve students' performance in standardized tests for university placements or certifications.

  • Train faculty on teaching technical and analytical skills.

  • Foster partnerships with certification bodies, industry leaders, and external organizations.

  • Develop students’ entrepreneurial, freelancing, and future work trends.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

For All Positions:

  • Master’s or PhD in Educational Leadership, IT, Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • Proven experience of 7–10 years in academic leadership and curriculum development.

  • Strong understanding of faculty development, curriculum implementation, and student placement processes.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to lead and manage change effectively.

  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse academic community.

  • Experience with data-driven assessment and digital learning methods.
