In alignment with our strategic goals, the Bank seeks talented, dedicated, and experienced professionals for the following position in Risk Management, based in Karachi.

Position: Collection Operations Officer (OG-II/OG-I)

Basic Eligibility Criteria:

Educational/Professional Qualification:

  • Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC.
  • Candidates with a Master's Degree and/or relevant certification(s) will be preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of banking experience in retail credit, retail collections, and/or retail operations.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in similar roles in large-scale or public sector organizations.

Required Skills/Expertise/Knowledge:

  • Good knowledge of banking products.
  • Goal-oriented and result-driven with the ability to prioritize and accomplish tasks.
  • Proficiency in handling delinquent customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate accounts to collection officers and agencies.
  • Monitor collector productivity and performance on a monthly basis and share reports with the Collections Manager for review.
  • Prepare and maintain records of write-off proposals.
  • Coordinate with the collections team to conduct field visits for verifying mailing addresses.
  • Arrange timely dispatch of dunning notices for all products, maintain a log of returned mails, and ensure dunning notices are sent to the correct addresses.
  • Prepare monthly collection and recovery incentives.
  • Ensure SMS dunning is sent to customers as per the prescribed dates in the collection procedure manual.
  • Resolve escalated complaints and handle queries assigned through PRU/CMU.
  • Issue warning letters to Branch Managers regarding delays in the auction of Gold in DF Gold and Agri Gold cases.
  • Assign targets to collection officers and external agencies, and monitor the performance of external agencies.
  • Perform any other assignments as directed by the supervisor(s).

  • Employment Type: Contractual for three years, with the possibility of renewal at the discretion of Management. Selected candidates will receive a compensation package and benefits as per the Bank's policy/rules.
