The Health Department of Gilgit-Baltistan invites applications from eligible candidates for the following vacancies under the Project Pay Scale (PPS) in Mental Health Care initiatives across three divisions of Gilgit-Baltistan. The positions are on a contract basis for a period of two years, with terms and conditions as outlined below:

1. Clinical Psychologist

  • PPS: 07
  • Qualification & Experience:
    i. BS/MS in Psychology
    ii. Diploma in Clinical Psychology
    iii. 1-2 years of experience
  • Fixed Pay: Rs. 90,000/-
  • Location & No. of Posts:
    • RHQ Hospital Skardu (01)
    • Psychiatry Hospital Gilgit (01)
    • RHQ Hospital Chilas (01)
    • DHQ Hospital Ghakuch (01)
    • Total: 04

2. Psychotherapist

  • PPS: 07
  • Qualification & Experience:
    i. BS/MS in Psychology
    ii. 1-2 years of experience with mentally ill patients
  • Fixed Pay: Rs. 90,000/-
  • Location & No. of Posts:
    • RHQ Hospital Skardu (01)
    • Psychiatry Hospital Gilgit (01)
    • Total: 02

3. Nurse

  • PPS: 06
  • Qualification & Experience:
    i. BSc Nursing from a recognized institute
    ii. 1-2 years of patient care experience
    iii. Experience in a mental health facility preferred
  • Fixed Pay: Rs. 60,000/-
  • Location & No. of Posts:
    • RHQ Hospital Skardu (01)
    • Psychiatry Hospital Gilgit (01)
    • Total: 02

Terms & Conditions:

  1. The appointment is on a contract basis for the project duration and may be terminated based on performance.
  2. Applications, along with relevant documents, must be submitted to the office of the Secretary Health Gilgit-Baltistan within 15 days of this advertisement (i.e., by 7th October, 2024).
  3. The Health Department reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process without providing any reasons.
  4. No TA/DA will be provided for the recruitment process.
  5. As the hiring is on a fixed pay basis, candidates cannot claim regularization of their services in any legal forum or court of law.
