JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

Water and Sanitation Services Company Swat (WSSC Swat) has been established by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and formally registered under Section 42 of the Companies Act 2017. The company aims to provide integrated and improved services in Drinking Water, Sanitation, and Solid Waste Management for the Tehsil Municipal Administration Area Babuzai, Swat.

WSSC Swat Mingora invites applications from experienced, qualified, and dynamic individuals for the following position:

Position: Chief Financial Officer

Requirements

  1. Qualifications:

    • Degree in CA/ACCA/ACMA and membership in a recognized body of professional accountants with 5 years of relevant experience.
    • OR 16 years of education in Finance/Accounts/Commerce with 10 years of relevant experience and an illustrious track record.

  2. Key Responsibilities:

    • Adopting International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as notified by SECP.
    • Providing management with appropriate advice on all official financial matters.
    • Maintaining accurate financial records and an effective internal financial control system.
    • Managing financial matters in public, private, or corporate institutions with knowledge of:
      • General Financial Rules (GFR)
      • FR/SRs
      • Treasury Rules
      • Utilization of public funds or grants.

  3. Technical Skills:

    • Proficient in computerized accounting packages and financial information systems.
    • Experience in public, private, or corporate institutions is required.
    • Preference will be given to those who have worked with international organizations or similar entities.

  4. Maximum Age: 55 years.
