Position: Chief Medical Team Lead / Chief Oncologist
Location: Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment & Research Centre, Lahore, Pakistan

Overview

The Government of Punjab is seeking a Chief Medical Team Lead (Chief Oncologist) to serve as CEO of the Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment & Research (NSICTR). NSICTR is a 915-bed, state-of-the-art hospital and research center dedicated to comprehensive cancer treatment and research, and the role offers a chance to lead Pakistan’s first oncology institute of this scale.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee establishment and day-to-day operations of NSICTR.
  • Develop and implement clinical and operational protocols.
  • Drive oncology research and clinical excellence at a national level.

Key Requirements

Qualifications

  • MBBS or equivalent, recognized by PMDC, with specialization in Oncology (e.g., FCPS, FRCP, MD, or equivalent).
  • Additional qualifications in Hospital Management are preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 15 years in oncology, with significant senior-level experience in clinical or hospital management.

Skills

  • Strong stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Effective in donor relations.
  • Strategic leadership acumen.
