Pakistan Television Corporation Limited (PTVC) is the pioneer and the largest Television Network in the country. Being terrestrial, cable and satellite, it is uniquely placed in the media industry. We require the services of highly motivated and experienced Chief Financial Officer on contract basis at its Headquarters Office, Islamabad, initially for a period of one (01) year, which is extendable on the basis of satisfactory performance.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) manages the organization's finances and is responsible for financial reporting. The CFO has primary responsibility for the planning, implementation managing and running of all the financial activities of the organization, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, managing cash flow and negotiations. The CFO also helps obtaining and maintaining investor relations and partnership compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As Part of an executive management team, the CFO will have interaction with various members of the organization, both senior and junior. He/She will be responsible to:-
Ensure appropriate advice is given to the Management and the Board of Directors on all financial matters.
Keep proper financial records and accounts.
Maintain effective system of internal financial control.
Responsible for financial planning, reporting and managing entire financial and accounting
function of the Corporation.
Statutory compliance and tax matters.
Coordinate external and internal audit process and
Coordinate in overall strategic & tactical matters relating to budget management and cost benefit analysis.
Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting teams.
Assist with high level decisions about policy and strategy.
JOB SPECIFICATION:
Charted Accountant and member of a recognized body of professional accountants.
EXPERIENCE:
At least ten (10) years of relevant experience at Sr. Managerial/Executive Level in Public/Private organization.
AGE LIMIT:
Minimum 50 years as on closing date of advertisement.
