Job Title
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Member of a recognized body of professional accountants.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience.
Age:
- Not more than 50 years.
Responsibilities:
- Develop financial and tax strategies for sustainability and compliance.
- Lead and manage the finance team, fostering growth and productivity.
- Create and oversee budgets in collaboration with other departments.
- Oversee all accounting and financial operations.
- Maintain financial records and prepare timely reports and statements.
- Implement internal controls for proper fund utilization and audit readiness.
- Monitor cash flow to ensure operational funding.
- Identify cost-saving and investment opportunities.
- Stay updated on financial regulations and ensure compliance.
- Analyze financial forecasts and trends.
- Manage payroll, banking transactions, and asset accounting.
- Coordinate with auditors and other stakeholders.
- Report financial risks and provide strategic advice to the CEO and Board.
Company Secretary
Qualifications:
- Member of a recognized body of professional accountants, or
- Member of a recognized body of corporate/chartered secretaries, or
- Holder of a master’s degree in business administration or commerce, or a law graduate from a HEC-recognized university.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of post-qualification relevant experience.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferable.
Age:
- Not more than 50 years.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and prepare agendas and minutes for board and annual general meetings.
- Coordinate and attend board and committee meetings, drafting minutes.
- Act as a liaison for directors, officers, and shareholders.
- Direct activities related to board, committees, and shareholders' meetings.
- Maintain key corporate documents and statutory books.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Monitor changes in legislation and regulatory environments, taking appropriate action.
- Liaise with external regulators, lawyers, and auditors.
- Develop and oversee systems ensuring compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
