Vacancy Announcement: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

About TUSDEC:
The Technology Upgradation and Skill Development Company (TUSDEC) has been established by the Ministry of Industries and Production to enhance technology and skill levels in key industrial sectors, connecting Pakistan to global value chains.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), based in Lahore.

Job Responsibilities:

The CEO will:

  1. Oversee the overall profitability and efficient management of the company, ensuring effective financial controls and operational oversight under the direction of the Board of Directors.
  2. Develop and present strategic business plans and policies to the Board for approval and lead their successful implementation.
  3. Ensure optimal human resource management and organizational resource utilization in compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations.
  4. Manage company affairs in line with the Companies Act, 2017, the Memorandum and Articles of Association, and applicable government policies/regulations issued by SECP and other authorities.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering (minimum 16 years of education).
  • Master’s in Business Administration / Public Administration / Economics from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Candidates with foreign qualifications must provide equivalence certificates from HEC.

Experience:

  • Minimum 18 years of relevant experience, including 10 years in senior management.
  • Proven track record of implementing technology/skill development initiatives that enhance productivity and competitiveness in specific sectors.

Age Limit:

  • Maximum 57 years at the time of application submission.

Remuneration and Terms:

  • Pay Package: Competitive salary and benefits, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
  • Contract: Appointment will be on a three-year contract, extendable as per rules.
