The Information, Science & Technology Department, Government of Sindh, is seeking a dynamic, well-qualified, and experienced professional to serve as the:

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sindh IT Company (SITC)

Position Overview:

As the CEO of the Sindh IT Company (SITC), you will play a pivotal role in driving the digital transformation of Sindh. This leadership position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of the province’s IT infrastructure, improving the lives of millions through technological innovation. You will oversee the province's digital strategy and lead efforts to integrate cutting-edge IT solutions into various sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the digital strategy for the province.
  • Drive organizational transformation through IT-driven solutions.
  • Foster a high-performance culture and build effective leadership teams.
  • Promote strong corporate governance practices and operational efficiency.
  • Leverage emerging technologies and adapt to evolving market trends.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (ICT), or MBA from an HEC-recognized institution.
  • PhD holders with relevant experience will be preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in large organizations.
  • At least 10 years of proven leadership in the digital/IT sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive business growth and achieve strategic objectives.

Technical Expertise:

  • Expertise in digital strategy development and implementation.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and performance analysis.
  • Knowledge of corporate governance, risk management, and operational best practices.

Leadership & Management:

  • Experience in building and nurturing high-performance teams.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills with a strategic mindset.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to engage and build consensus with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, enterprise clients, and non-profits.

Integrity & Emotional Intelligence:

  • High level of emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
  • Impeccable integrity and a reputation for inspiring and leading diverse teams.

General Conditions:

  • Age Limit: Maximum of 50 years.
  • Location: Based in Karachi.
  • Documentation: Candidates must submit duly verified educational and experience documents upon request.
