Position:

Chef (Based in Rawalpindi)

Experience & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a chef with expertise in multiple cuisines, including Pakistani, Chinese, Continental, Shinwari, and Barbecue, along with dessert preparation.
• Experience in menu planning and cost control.
• Formal culinary education or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with current food trends and dietary restrictions.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative flair with a passion for culinary innovation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and mentor junior kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Menu Development

• Design and update menus featuring a variety of dishes from the specified cuisines, ensuring a balance of flavors and presentation.

Food Preparation

• Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards, maintaining consistency and quality.

Quality Control

• Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure it meets establishment standards.

Inventory Management

• Oversee ordering and storage of ingredients, ensuring proper stock levels and minimizing waste.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations and a harmonious work environment.

Health & Safety Compliance

• Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Customer Interaction

• Occasionally engage with guests to receive feedback and ensure satisfaction with the culinary offerings.

Additional Details:

• Attractive salary package and fringe benefits will be offered based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

• Employment is on a contract basis (extendable).
