Applications are invited for the following gazetted posts on a contract basis:

Qualification and Experience:

For Both Genders:
2nd Class or Grade "C" Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification from a College/University/Institute recognized by Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC)
For Females:
03 years diploma in General Nursing or equivalent qualification from a College/University/Institute recognized by PNC with 01 year diploma in Midwifery
For Males:
03 years diploma in General Nursing or equivalent qualification from a College/University/Institute recognized by PNC with 01 year course in Nursing-related field in lieu of midwifery
Additional Requirements:
Valid registration with PNC
Age Limit: 22-30 years (Maximum age limit after 05 years relaxation in the upper age limit by the Government is 35 years)

General Terms & Conditions:
i. Interested candidates are advised to apply online at the National Job Portal website: www.njp.gov.pk within fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of the advertisement.
ii. No application will be entertained by hand.
iii. Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for test/interview.
iv. Relaxation in upper age limit will be allowed as admissible under the Government Rules.
v. Minimum and maximum age shall be calculated from the closing date of applications.
vi. The contract appointment will be made initially for a period of 01 year or till the availability of FPSC's nominees, whichever is earlier, and shall not confer any right for regularization of the service after the expiry of the specified contract period.
vii. Information provided in the application forms will be verified in case of appointment. In case of any false or forged information, the Ministry reserves the right to cancel the candidature at any stage (even after employment, if revealed later) and to initiate legal action against the applicant.
viii. The competent authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts as well as to cancel or postpone the recruitment process at any stage.
ix. Employees will be dealt with as per provisions contained in the contract policy of the Government, as amended from time to time.
x. Salary package will be based on Basic Pay Scales / Government contract policy.
xi. Candidates serving in Government/Semi-Government sectors shall produce NOC at the time of test/interview.
xii. No TA/DA would be admissible for appearing in the test/interview or joining the appointment.
