Temporary Vacancies Announcement

The Department of School Education, Government of Balochistan, in its effort to reopen closed schools across various districts and enroll out-of-school children, as well as address the shortage of teaching staff, invites applications for 1,569 temporary teaching positions under the approved 2024 Temporary Recruitment Policy. The positions are on a contract basis, and local candidates with domicile from the respective districts are eligible to apply.

Details of Vacancies:

  1. Elementary School Teacher (EST) - BPS-15

    • Qualification: 4-year BS (Education) with at least First Division from a recognized institution
    • B.Ed: First Division from a recognized institution

  2. Junior English Teacher (JET) - BPS-14

    • Qualification: 4-year BS (Education) with at least First Division from a recognized institution
    • B.Ed: First Division from a recognized institution

  3. Junior English Teacher - Technical (JET-Tech) - BPS-14

    • Qualification: Technical degree in relevant subject with First Division from a recognized institution and a 1-year language diploma or equivalent training

  4. Junior Arabic Teacher (JAT) - BPS-14

    • Qualification: Arabic with First Division, along with an Arabic teaching certificate (ATTC) from a recognized institution
    • Equivalent Degrees: Shahadatul A'liya with equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions

Important Instructions:

  1. Eligibility: Only local domicile holders are eligible.

  2. Age: Minimum age of 18 years.

  3. Government Employees: Must apply through proper channels.

  4. Temporary Appointments: These positions are purely under the 2024 Temporary Recruitment Policy of the Balochistan Government.

  5. Disabled Persons: Must provide a valid disability certificate issued by the Social Welfare Department.

  6. Merit Criteria:

    • Academic Qualification: 80% weightage
    • Professional Qualification: 20% weightage

  7. Contract Duration: Initial contract for 18 months, extendable based on performance.

  8. Application Procedure:

    • Submit applications along with educational certificates and other required documents to the District Education Officer (DEO) of the respective district.
    • Deadline: 19th November 2024.
    • Merit List Publication: Provisional merit list will be published on 24th October 2024 at DEO offices. Objections can be submitted until 25th October 2024.
    • Final Merit List: Will be displayed on 31st October 2024 after addressing objections.
