WAPDA invites applications from suitable/eligible candidates for the following posts on a regular basis in the Transport Directorate:

1. Auto Mechanic (Petrol)

  • BPS No. of Posts: 09
  • Qualification/Experience:
    • Ex-NCO (Matric) qualified Mechanic (Petrol) from EME
    • OR Matric with 05 years' experience as Auto Mechanic (Petrol) in Govt./Semi Govt./Autonomous Bodies or a Firm of Repute.
  • Age Limit (Years): 45
  • Quota: Open Merit = 01, Sindh (R) Open = 02, Sindh (R) ECQ = 01

2. Auto Mechanic (Diesel)

  • BPS No. of Posts: 09
  • Qualification/Experience:
    • Ex-NCO (Matric) qualified Mechanic (Diesel) from EME
    • OR Matric with 05 years' experience as Auto Mechanic (Diesel) in Govt./Semi Govt./Autonomous Bodies or a Firm of Repute.
  • Age Limit (Years): 45
  • Quota: Open Merit = 01, Sindh (U) Open = 02, Sindh (U) ECQ = 01

3. Driver (LTV)

  • BPS No. of Posts: 06
  • Qualification/Experience:
    • Person holding Light Duty Vehicle License with 05 years' experience after obtaining the License with Middle qualification.
    • OR Ex-Army personnel having valid LTV License with 05 years' experience.
  • Age Limit (Years): 25-35
  • Quota: Open Merit = 03, Sindh (R) Open = 02, Sindh (R) ECQ = 01, KPK (Open) = 01, KPK (ECQ) = 01, Balochistan (Open) = 02, Balochistan (ECQ) = 01, FATA/GB (Open) = 01, FATA/GB (ECQ) = 01

4. Driver (HTV)

  • BPS No. of Posts: 07
  • Qualification/Experience:
    • Person holding HTV/PSV License with 05 years' experience after obtaining the License with Middle qualification.
    • OR Ex-Army personnel having valid HTV/PSV License with 05 years' experience.
  • Age Limit (Years): 25-35
  • Quota: Open Merit = 02, Sindh (R) Open = 01, Sindh (U) Open = 01, KPK (Open) = 01, Balochistan (Open) = 01, FATA/GB (Open) = 01

General Conditions & Instructions:

  • Written test conducted by Mis OTS; interview by WAPDA.
  • General age relaxation of 05 years included. 03 years additional relaxation for certain categories.
  • Upper age limit relaxed up to 10 years for Govt/WAPDA employees with 02 years continuous service.
  • Apply through WAPDA HR Division if currently serving in WAPDA.
  • Children of WAPDA employees can apply under WAPDA Employees Children Quota (ECQ).
  • Submit requisite documents at the time of interview if applying under ECQ.
  • Apply through proper channel and submit NOC for Govt employees.
  • Educational certificates must be verified from HEC or recognized institutions.
  • Initial appointment on probation for 01 year, with regularization subject to performance.
  • Applications with incomplete/incorrect information or received after the last date will be rejected.

How to Apply:

  • Visit Mis OTS website (www.ots.org.pk) for registration and application within 15 days of advertisement publication.
  • Pay test fee of Rs. 200/- to OTS via Bank Alfalah, HBL, or ABL using the prescribed Bank Challan form.
  • Send completed application form with attested copies of documents, fee Challan, and photographs to:
    • Manager Operations (WAPDA) Open Testing Service,
    • Office No.1, Central Avenue, Bahria Town Phase-VI, Islamabad.
  • Check OTS website for roll number slips, test schedules, and results.
