DOW UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES (D.U.H.S) – CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) invites applications from eligible candidates for the following faculty and non-teaching positions:

Basic Medical Sciences – Faculty Positions

Post: Associate Professor

  • Specialties:

    • Pharmacology

    • Forensic Medicine

Clinical Sciences – Teaching Staff

Post: Associate Professor

  • Specialties:

    • Anaesthesia

    • Family Medicine

School of Public Health – Teaching Staff

Post: Assistant Professor

  • Specialty:

    • Public Health / Biostatistics

Non-Teaching Staff

Post: Deputy Controller of Examination

Eligibility Criteria & Application Process

  • Domicile: Only candidates holding Sindh domicile are eligible to apply.

  • Qualification & Experience: For details, please visit: www.duhs.edu.pk

  • Preference: Candidates with relevant international qualifications will be given preference.

  • Application Requirements:

    1. Clearly mention post name and specialty on the top-right of the envelope.

    2. Submit one recent photograph, attested copies of:

      • Educational documents

      • Experience certificates

      • Publications (if any)

      • Domicile

      • CNIC

    3. Include three current referral letters and a brief CV.

    4. Government employees or those in public sector HEIs must apply through proper channel with a copy of NOC.

    5. Every application must include a pay order of Rs.1500/- (Non-refundable) in favor of Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi.

    6. Applications must also be filled online at: www.duhs.edu.pk

Important Notes

  • Incomplete applications will not be entertained.

  • All provided information will be kept confidential.

  • A pre-interview MCQ-based test may be conducted for shortlisting in case of a large number of applicants.

  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.

  • Age relaxation is subject to approval by the Scrutiny Committee/Selection Board.

  • No TA/DA will be provided for the interview.

  • All submitted documents will be verified. Any misleading or false document may result in disqualification or termination.
