There is one vacant position of Assistant Research Officer (BPS-17) in the Establishment of the High Court. Applications are invited from qualified and eligible candidates (male/female) holding domicile of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, for permanent appointment under the provisions of the AJK Civil Servants (Appointment & Conditions of Service) Rules, 2020 (Amended).

Position Details:

  • Post Title: Assistant Research Officer

  • BPS: 17

  • Number of Vacancies: 01

  • Minimum Qualification: Must be an Advocate with at least three years of experience.

Application Procedure and Instructions:

  1. Only eligible candidates meeting the qualifications and criteria may apply.

  2. Applications will be accepted ONLY via ONLINE submission.

  3. Age relaxation will be considered under the AJK Civil Servants (Relaxation of Age Limit) Rules, 1997.

  4. The last date for submission of the online application form is May 5, 2025, up to 11:50 PM.

  5. Application forms must be filled carefully and accurately. Once submitted, no corrections can be made.

  6. Incomplete applications or those submitted without the required fee will not be accepted.

  7. The application processing fee of Rs. 1800 (Eighteen Hundred Rupees) must be deposited in the following bank account:

    • Bank: Bank of Azad Jammu & Kashmir

    • Account Number: 101

    • Account Title: Government of Azad Jammu & Kashmir

    Applicants must enter the following details while submitting the application:

    • Full Name of Applicant

    • CNIC Number

    • Name of the Post

    • Mobile Number

  8. The fee paid for one post cannot be used for another post.

  9. Applicants must send the hard copy of the submitted online application form along with the original deposit slip by registered post to:

    • Registrar, High Court of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Muzaffarabad

    It's advised to keep a photocopy of both the form and slip for personal record.

  10. Applicants must provide an active mobile number (WhatsApp preferred) and email address in the form.

  11. Candidates will be called for test/interview through official communication.

  12. If at any stage, false information is found or the required experience is lacking, the application will be considered invalid, and legal action may be initiated.

  13. Personal details such as name, father's name, date of birth, qualifications, experience, address, contact number, etc. must be filled accurately and clearly.

    • A recent passport-size photograph must be uploaded with the online form.

  14. The competent authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies, or reject any application without assigning a reason.

  15. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the test/interview.

  16. Appointment of selected candidates is subject to:

    • Medical fitness

    • Character certificate

    • Non-involvement in any criminal investigation or case
