RIC invites applications for the following positions on a temporary / non-consultancy / PLA basis, strictly on merit as per BOM/Administrative Committee-approved posts.

?? Position Details

1. Assistant Professor of Pathology

  • No. of Posts: 01

  • Equivalent BPS: 18

  • Qualifications:

    • MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC)

    • Registered with PMDC

    • Postgraduate qualification such as Ph.D., FCPS, MRC in Pathology, Diplomat American Board, M.Phil or equivalent in the relevant field

  • Age Limit: 25 – 45 Years

2. Assistant Professor of Microbiology

  • No. of Posts: 01

  • Equivalent BPS: 18

  • Qualifications:

    • MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC

    • Registered with PMDC

    • Postgraduate qualification such as Ph.D., FCPS, MRC in Pathology/Microbiology, Diplomat American Board, M.Phil or equivalent in the relevant field

  • Age Limit: 25 – 45 Years

3. Computer System Analyst

  • No. of Posts: 01

  • Equivalent BPS: 18

  • Qualifications:

    • Master’s degree (second division) in Computer Science or Information Technology OR

    • Bachelor of Computer Science (second division) (4 years) from a HEC-recognized university

    • Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience in software engineering or computer programming

  • Age Limit: 28 – 40 Years

  1. Application Submission:
    Application must be submitted on the prescribed proforma (available at www.ric.gop.pk) along with attested copies of CNIC, domicile, academic and experience certificates.

  3. Nature of Appointment:

    • Positions are on Temporary / Non-Consultancy / PLA basis.

    • These appointments do not guarantee regularization.

  4. Authority Rights:

    • The competent authority reserves the right to change the number of posts, cancel recruitment, or modify the policy at any stage.

    • The authority may terminate services without prior notice in case of poor performance, misconduct, or unauthorized absence.

  5. Age Relaxation:

    • General age relaxation will be granted as per Government policy.

  6. Remuneration:

    • Monthly package will be as per Administrative Committee/Government approved rates equivalent to respective BPS.

  7. Quota Observance:

    • Quotas for women, minorities, disabled persons, and children of employees will be observed as per Government rules.

  8. Preference:

    • Candidates with higher qualifications and experience, particularly in cardiac hospitals, will be preferred.

  9. Government Employees:

    • Candidates already in Government or autonomous institutions should apply through proper channel.

  10. Interview/Test Schedule:

    • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted via phone for interview/test.

  11. TA/DA:

    • No TA/DA will be provided for the interview/test.
