Job Opportunities

The GIK Institute, in partnership with the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training and the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), is set to establish an IT Training Center at Federal College for Women, F-7/4 (Margalla Campus), Islamabad. This initiative, part of the Prime Minister’s High Impact Technology Initiative, aims to provide IT training courses for unemployed youth.

Applications Open for Full-Time and Visiting Faculty Positions

Available Positions:

  1. Assistant Professor
  2. Lecturer
  3. Industry Expert

Qualifications Required:

  • Assistant Professor (Full-time/Visiting):

    • PhD in Computer Science or a related field from an HEC-recognized university/institution (preference for candidates from foreign universities).
    • Specialization in AI, Data Science, and Blockchain.
    • A First-Class academic record.
    • Preference for faculty with industry experience.

  • Lecturer (Full-time/Visiting):

    • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an HEC-recognized university/institution.
    • Specialization in AI, Data Science, and Blockchain.
    • A First-Class academic record.

  • Industry Expert:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
    • 3–4 years of IT industry experience with training expertise, especially in AI, Data Science, and Blockchain.
    • Relevant industry experience may allow for some flexibility in requirements.
