SITUATION VACANT

The School of Dentistry at Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University is seeking dynamic and suitable candidates for appointment to the following positions on a Regular Basis:

Available Positions

1. Assistant Professor (Anesthesia) - (01 Post)

• Qualification & Experience: MBBS/BDS with MPhil/MS/FCPS/MDS/PhD, Membership of Royal Colleges (UK), Diplomat of American Board (as determined by HEC & PM&DC) in the relevant Medical/Dental Science disciplines.

• Experience: At least two (2) years as Senior Registrar in the relevant field.

• Age Limit: 32-45 years

2. Demonstrator (BPS-17) - (02 Posts)

• Qualification & Experience: MBBS from an HEC or PM&DC recognized University/Institution.

• Age Limit: 25-35 years

3. Pharmacist (BPS-17) - (01 Post)

• Qualification & Experience: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) from an HEC-recognized University/Institution.

• Age Limit: 22-32 years

4. Assistant Anesthetist (BPS-17) - (01 Post)

• Qualification & Experience: MBBS/BDS or equivalent qualifications recognized by PM&DC.

• Experience: At least one (1) year of experience as Senior Registrar in the relevant field.

• Age Limit: 22-32 years

5. Network Administrator (BPS-17) - (01 Post)

• Qualification & Experience: At least Second Class Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering from an HEC-recognized University/Institution.

• Age Limit: 22-32 years

6. Assistant Librarian (BPS-14) - (01 Post)

• Qualification & Experience: A Second Class Bachelor's degree with a Diploma in Library Science from an HEC-recognized University/Institution.

• Experience: At least one (1) year of experience in the relevant field.

• Age Limit: 20-28 years

7. Sub Engineer (Electromedical) (BPS-14) - (01 Post)

• Qualification & Experience: Second Class Bachelor's degree or Diploma in the relevant subject from an HEC-recognized University/Institution.

• Experience: Three (3) years of experience in the relevant field in the public sector.

• Age Limit: 20-38 years

8. Sub Engineer (Electrical) (BPS-14) - (01 Post)

• Qualification & Experience: Second Class Bachelor's degree or Diploma in the relevant subject from an HEC-recognized University/Institution.

• Experience: Three (3) years of experience in the relevant field in the public sector.

• Age Limit: 20-38 years

9. Data Entry Operator (BPS-11) - (01 Post)

• Qualification & Experience: Second Class Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Physics as a subject from an HEC-recognized University/Institution.

• Skill Requirement: Minimum speed of 10,000 key depressions per hour for data entry/verification.

• Age Limit: 18-25 years

10. Sterilization Supervisor (BPS-11) - (01 Post)

• Qualification & Experience: F.Sc. (Sciences) with five (5) years of experience as Sterilization Supervisor.

• Age Limit: 18-25 years

11. Dental Chair Assistant (BPS-07) - (01 Post)

• Qualification & Experience: Matric (Sciences) with seven (7) years of experience OR Dental Hygienist/Dental Technician Diploma.

• Age Limit: 18-20 years

12. Store Keeper (BPS-07) - (01 Post)

• Qualification & Experience: Graduate with one (1) year of experience OR Intermediate with two (2) years of experience in the relevant field.

• Age Limit: 19-25 years

13. Sterilization Technician (BPS-06) - (01 Post)

• Qualification & Experience: Matric (Sciences) with three (3) years of experience in sterilization techniques.

• Age Limit: 15-25 years

14. Sanitary Inspector (BPS-06) - (01 Post)

• Qualification & Experience: Matric with Sanitary Inspector Diploma from a recognized institution.

• Age Limit: 20-30 years

15. AC Operator (BPS-05) - (01 Post)

• Qualification & Experience: Matric (Sciences) with three (3) years of experience in the relevant field.

• Age Limit: 18-25 years

16. Plumber (BPS-03) - (01 Post)

• Qualification & Experience: Matric (2nd Division) with two (2) years of experience in the relevant field.

• Age Limit: 18-25 years

Application Process

• Applications must be submitted to the Registrar Office before 07-04-2025, 4:30 PM.

• Application forms are available on the University website: www.szabmu.edu.pk.

• Candidates applying for more than one post should submit separate applications with relevant documents.

• Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply.

• A general age relaxation of five (5) years will be granted as per Federal Government Rules.

• Applicants must submit one (1) hard copy of their application along with a complete CV, attested copies of documents, and publications.

• Applications must be accompanied by a demand draft/pay order (non-refundable) of Rs. 2,000 in favor of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University.

• Government employees should apply through the proper channel.

• Incomplete applications and those received after the due date will not be entertained.

• The number of vacancies may increase or decrease based on university requirements.

• The university reserves the right to reject any application without providing a reason.

• No TA/DA will be provided for the recruitment process.

• Quota system will be observed as per Federal Government Rules.
