VACANCY POSITION

The Centre of Digital Communication (CDC), Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Islamabad, requires the services of qualified, energetic, experienced, and motivated individuals for appointment against a PSDP Project on the following position purely on a contract basis:

Qualification, Experience, & Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification:
    a) 2nd Class or Grade 'C' Master's/Bachelor's (16 years education) degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
    OR
    b) 2nd Class or Grade 'C' Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/Computer System Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a university recognized by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).

  • Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.

  • Preference: Candidates who are Certified Network Professionals and possess relevant Security Certifications and experience will be given preference.

General Terms and Conditions:

  1. All positions are on a merit basis, and the place of posting will be Islamabad or Lahore.

  2. The initial contract period will be for one year or until the project is completed, whichever is earlier.

  3. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview. No TA/DA will be admissible.

  4. The Ministry reserves the right to cancel, withhold, or not fill the advertised positions.

  5. Government employees may apply through the proper channel. However, if a government employee is selected for a project post, they will have to resign from government service before appointment to the project post.

  6. Age relaxation will be given as per Federal Government rules.

  4. Only online filled application forms will be entertained. Handwritten applications will not be considered.

  5. Candidates applying for more than one category/post must submit a separate application form and fee for each.
