BURNS & PLASTIC SURGERY CENTER, HAYATABAD, PESHAWAR

SITUATION VACANT

Applications are invited under the Medical Teaching Institution (MTI) Act 2015 for the following vacancies at Burns and Plastic Surgery Center, Hayatabad, Peshawar. Only candidates with domiciles of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and merged tribal areas are eligible to apply as per the conditions detailed below:

A. FACULTY POSITIONS

1. Associate Professor (Anesthesia)

• Age Limit: 35–50 years
• Qualification:
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by PMC/PM&DC.
  • Fellowship (FCPS/MS/MD) in Anesthesia, approved by SRC and recognized by PMC/PM&DC.
• Experience:
  • Eight years of teaching experience, including at least five years as an Assistant Professor in the relevant specialty.
• Publications:
  • A minimum of eight research publications in PMC/PM&DC-recognized journals.

2. Assistant Professor (Plastic Surgery)

• Age Limit: 25–45 years
• Qualification:
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by PMC/PM&DC.
  • Fellowship (FCPS/MS/MD) in Plastic Surgery or other relevant specialties, approved by SRC and recognized by PMC/PM&DC.
• Experience:
  • Two years of clinical experience in the relevant specialty after postgraduate qualification.
• Publications:
  • Two research publications in PMC/PM&DC-recognized journals.

3. Assistant Professor (Intensive Care)

• Age Limit: 25–45 years
• Qualification:
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by PMC/PM&DC.
  • Fellowship (FCPS/MS/MD) in Pulmonology or Anesthesia, with relevant experience in Intensive Care.
• Experience:
  • Two years of clinical experience in Intensive Care after postgraduate qualification.
• Publications:
  • Two research publications in PMC/PM&DC-recognized journals.

Terms & Conditions

1. Application Submission:

   • Complete applications, including bio-data and attested academic/experience documents, must reach the Recruitment Cell, Burns & Plastic Surgery Center, Phase IV, Hayatabad, Peshawar, within two (02) weeks of the latest publication of this advertisement.

2. Application Form:

3. Processing Fee:

   • A non-refundable fee of Rs. 1,000/- is required per application. The fee should be submitted via Bank Draft or Pay Order in favor of the Director, Burns and Trauma Center, Hayatabad, Peshawar, or through direct deposit into the following account:

4. Recruitment Process:

   • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
   • Shortlisting may involve an entry test if the number of candidates is high. The entry test marks will not carry weightage in the final selection.

5. General Guidelines:

   • Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
   • Original documents must be produced at the time of the interview.
   • Applicants from private institutions must submit an NOC from their current employer, while government employees must apply through the proper channel with an NOC from their respective department.

6. Probation Period:

   • Selected candidates will undergo a probation period of one (01) year, extendable to a maximum of two (02) years.

7. Disqualification Criteria:
   Candidates may be disqualified for:

   • Conviction by a court of law.
   • Providing false information or suppressing relevant details.
   • Using improper means to secure selection.
   • Submitting forged certificates or tampering with academic records.

8. Closing Date:
