Job Announcement

The Aga Khan Education Service, Pakistan (AKES, Pakistan) — a part of the Aga Khan Development Network — provides educational opportunities to over 57,000 students through a network of more than 150 schools and 6 hostels across the country.

Currently, AKES, Pakistan-South is seeking eligible and motivated candidates for various teaching positions at its schools in Karachi. The details of the available positions are outlined below:

Position Details

1. Teacher – Pre-Primary (Evening Shift)

• Subjects: English, Urdu, Mathematics

• Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline

  • Preference will be given to candidates with a diploma or short courses in Early Childhood Development (ECD)

2. Teacher – Primary (Evening Shift)

• Subjects: English, Social Studies, Mathematics, Science, Learning Technology Facilitator, Urdu, Islamiat, Homeroom Teacher for Grades I and II

• Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline

3. Teacher – Secondary (Evening Shift)

• Subjects: English, Social Studies, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Pakistan Studies, Learning Technology Facilitator, General Science, Urdu, Islamiat

• Qualification:

  • Master’s degree in the relevant subject

  • Preference for candidates with at least 2 years of higher secondary teaching experience

4. Lecturer – Higher Secondary

• Subjects: Biology (Zoology & Botany), English, Urdu, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Islamiat, Principles of Commerce

• Qualification:

  • Master’s degree in the relevant subject

  • Minimum of 2 years of higher secondary teaching experience preferred

• Negative marking of 0.25 marks will be applied for each incorrect answer in the CBT.
