The University of Sindh is currently undertaking the construction of Buildings for Allama I.I. Kazi Main Campus, Jamshoro under the PSDP approved Project titled as "Strengthening and Up-gradation of Academic Facilities at University of Sindh, Jamshoro". In this regard, Expression of Interest is invited for the post of Accounts Officer (purely on contract basis / project based) for a period of one (01) year extendable from all interested persons fulfilling the criteria of job specifications for the post:
Accounts Officer (purely on contract basis / project based)
Job Brief:
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Officer who could provide financial advice and he should be a specialized person in particular areas of practice, including Audit, Recovery, Taxation and Corporate Finance.
Responsibilities:
Manage all accounting transactions.
Prepare budget forecasts.
Publish financial statements in time.
Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Ensure timely bank payments.
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
Requirements: Age, Education, Experience:
Age Limit: 30-45 Years.
BBA/BS Commerce specializing in Finance.
Five years' experience in relevant field.
Skills Required:
Sound analytical skills.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Good time and stress management skills.
Spreadsheet proficiency.
Excellent knowledge of accountancy.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
1. Prescribed application forms are obtainable from Administration Branch on payment of Rs.2000/- (rupees two thousand) through a bank challan, payable in Habib Bank Ltd. Allama I.I. Kazi Campus, Jamshoro and Elsa Kazi Campus, Hyderabad.
2. Application form along with supporting / required documents may reach the office of the Registrar, Allama I.I Kazi Campus, University of Sindh, Jamshoro on or before 28.06.2024.
3. The applications received after due date / incomplete in any manner shall not be entertained and shall be rejected.
4. A recent passport size photograph should be affixed on the application.
5. The University reserves the right of cancellation of advertised post at any stage.
6. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in written test/interview.
7. The appointment shall be subject to the approval of the competent authority.
8. Canvassing in any manner will disqualify the candidate.
9. Shortlisting of the candidates shall be made in accordance
with the procedure laid down by the University.
