POSITIONS VACANT

Applications are invited for the following prestigious teaching/research positions (under the Chair on Gas Engineering sponsored by Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd.) on a contract basis (extendable) in the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Engineering & Technology (UET), Lahore.

1. Position Title: Professor (Chair on Gas Engineering)

Qualification/Experience:

  • Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering OR
  • B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering with a Ph.D. in Gas Engineering.
  • Membership: Must be a member of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
  • Professional Experience:
    • Minimum 10 years of post-Ph.D. experience in teaching and/or research at HEC-recognized universities.
    • Alternatively, 10 years of post-Ph.D. professional experience in the relevant field.
  • Research Publications:
    • A total of 15 research publications, preferably in the field of Gas Engineering.
    • At least 5 publications in the last 5 years in internationally abstracted journals recognized by HEC.

2. Position Title: Research Associate

Qualification/Experience:

  • B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum 01 year of experience in Research & Development related to Gas Engineering.
