Ar-Ra'd means the “Thunder” is the 13th Surah of the Qur'an, with 43 verses. It has Muqattat. Verse 15 contains a prostration symbol whatsoever is in heaven and on earth worshipped GOD, voluntarily or of force; and their shadows also, morning and evening.
The main theme of this Surah is about the Message of Allah that is the truth. It is a mistake for people to reject it. The arguments in the whole Surah turn around this theme and the basic components of the Message which are Tawhid (God is One), Risalat (Prophethood) and Resurrection, are repeated repeatedly.
The Holy Prophet (a. s. ) the Surah has been quoted as saying that whoever recites this Surah will be among those who do their promise to Allah (S). w. Thus, those who make efforts to stop after smoking one cigarette will be given a reward ten times the number of sins they have committed.
surah ar rad ayat 39 describes:
Allah effaceth what He will, and established (what He will), and with Him is the source of ordinance. Allah erases whatever He decides and He makes firm (whatever He decides), and in His Providence is the Essence of the Book.
surah ar rad 13:28
Those who “believe (in the message of the Prophet) and the ones whose hearts rest in the remembrance of Allah are the ones who are described in this way. Most definitely remembering Allah's words one surely finds rest in his heart. Thus, for those who are of the one who believes (in that which they do is also the message of Truth) and do good, they are certainly destined to be happy and glad to the end.
surah ar rad ayat 8
Allah knows, what all the female bears and how many the wombs madden (of the time or number) or exceed. Basically, everything with Him is (at least) in the right proportion.
