Karachi: The provincial minster for Excise and Taxation & Narcotics Control Mukesh Kumar Chawla on Sunday said that the Pakistan People’s Party strongly believes in serving the masses irrespective of political affiliation and is taking some essential steps for the well-being of the people.
He gave this statement while inaugurating Shakir Institute of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences at Gharo and the launching ceremony of Sadar Muhammad Shakir's book named as ‘Fikre Shakir’.

He also added that it was a fact that unemployment major issues of the state and the PPP government was trying its best to handle this matter as 40,000 new jobs will be offered to the youth in the new budget.
He stressed upon the private zone to come forward and to play its vital role in offering the jobs to the jobless youth.

The minister said Dr. Afzal of Shakir Medical Centre Gharo was doing its best to serve the needy people and it was the need of the hour that such more humanitarians should come forward.
