Lahore, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore has opened Admission 2012-13 in M.Phil & Ph.D Degree Programs and last date for submission of application forms is Jan 21, 2013.

Lahore campus is offering M.Phil program in Pharmacology & Toxicology, Anatomy & Histology, Physiology, Molecular Biology & Biotechnology, Parasitology, Epidemiology & Public Health, Pathology and Clinical Medicine.

Eligibility criteria for MPhil admission is: 16 years of schooling or 4 years education (130 credit hours) after HSSC /F.A/F.Sc. /Grade 12 equivalents. Minimum 2nd Division with 50% marks according to annual system or minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00 according to the semester system from a recognized University in related field of study.

Candidates are required to clear GAT (General) Test by NTS before the last date of submission of applications.

PhD Admissions in Lahore Campus are opened in Pharmacology & Toxicology, Physiology, Anatomy & Histology, Parasitology, Epidemiology & Public Health, Clinical Medicine, Pathology, Bio-Chemistry.

Eligibility criteria to get admission in PhD program is that the candidates must have M.Sc. (Hons.)/M.Phil degree in related field of study with minimum of first division according to annual system or not less than CGPA 3.00/4.00 according to semester system from HEC recognized Universities. Candidates are required to clear the GRE (Subject) test which will be arranged by UVAS. Qualifying score is 70% or GAT (Subject) test by NTS with 60% score.

The candidates who are applying in more than one discipline will pay Rs. 500 for each additional discipline. Application will be submitted online at university website and prospectus can be downloaded from the University.

Candidate are required to submit an amount of Rs. 2000/- admission processing fee along with the application form at Habib Bank Ltd., Civil Line Branch, Lahore in Account No.01277900351801 or in the form of Bank Draft in the name of Treasurer, UVAS, Lahore.

Last date for submission of applications in Office of Advanced Studies is Jan 21, 2013. List of eligible candidates will be displayed on Jan 30, 2013.

Entry test of M.Phil Candidates will be conducted on Feb 2, 2013 while GRE test of Ph.D Candidates will be conducted on Feb 05, 2013.
