Islamabad: Holyoke Community College Massachusetts USA has agreed to associate along with the Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority of Pakistan (TEVTA) and introduce its educational system in TEVTA institutions especially those relating to adult education in order to control the menace of unemployment which has disturbed this nation for ages.
For this purpose, an agreement was signed during a meeting at the TEVTA Secretariat. The agreement was signed by both patrons. A delegation of Holyoke Community College, presided over by the Vice President Adult Education Program Holyoke Community College Kirmet Berg, met along with the head of TEVTA Irfan Qaiser Sheikh.
Moreover, this meeting was attended by different high cadre TEVTA representatives including Amir Aziz, and Akhtar Abbas. Program Officer United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan Rahat Kareem was also present on the event.

As a part of this agreement, Holyoke Community College will assist TEVTA to develop its educational system. The adult educational programs of Holyoke Community College would be adapted, and applied in the TEVTA Punjab institutions.
During the visit to Pakistan, the delegate visited TEVTA institutes at Lahore and Rawalpindi. TEVTA representative also visited the USA to attend a training program almost one month back. The foreign educational programs are expected to launch soon.
