Urdu literary evening organized at Beaconhouse Karachi

The Beaconhouse School System held a one of its feeling sensation literary event at its DHA Campus in Karachi. Beaconhouse School System arranged a literary evening, titled named called ‘Our Writers Our Heroes’ (Hamaray Adeeb Hamaray Hero), at its DHA campus on Friday.

The occasion was prearranged to discuss the challenges deal by the Urdu language as well as the younger generation’s deficiency of interest in it. The motive of the event was to widen students’ reading interests, familiarize with Urdu writers and poets.

A panel discussion, on whether the Urdu literature evolved with time especially for the younger lot, was held. Well-known modern Urdu literary figures: Zehra Nigah, Attiya Dawood, Fehmida Riaz, and businessman cum Urdu lover Wajid Jawwad were the panelists.

The Zambeel Dramatic Readings also present actions at this occasion.

Far ahead, two students Shehreyar Ahmed and Maryam Ali presented ghazals and piano recitals respectively.
