UOS bans students to sit as “couple” inside university premises

Lahore: University of Sargodha (UoS) Lahore campus has banned its aspirants from sitting “as a couple” in the premises of university.

The Discipline Committee secretary of university Dr Arbab Khalid Cheema issued a notice for students which says: “In view of our cultural as well as our religious bindings and complaints by the parents as well, incongruous interaction between male and female aspirants is strictly banned inside the University premises.”

The notice also state “The aspirants are not allowed to sit anywhere in the within the varsity permises as a couple. But, they may sit in groups of 3 or more members”.
