Approximately 4,500 applicants appeared in University of Peshawar aptitude test held for the admission in master’s degree programme that was organized at 4 examination centres in the provincial metropolis under the supervision of National Testing Service (NTS).

The applicants appeared for admission against almost 2,200 allotted seats in 42 various disciplianes of the university where MA programme is being offered. Vice-Chancellor of University of Peshawar Prof Dr Muhammad Rasul Jan himself supervised the test while he was present there along with Registrar Dr Syed Fazl-i-Hadi, Director Admissions Prof Dr Hizbullah Khan as well as the other officers of the university.

Almost 200 invigilating staff were also positioned and assigned the task for the smoothly conduction of admission test. 4 different classes of test ranging from Pre-Medical (UAT-PM), Pre-Engineering (UAT-PE), Computer/ Commerce/ General Science (UAT-CCGS) Art & Humanities (UAT-AH) were deliberated for the candidates looking for the admissions in different disciplines.

This admission test result will be announced tomorrow (Tuesday) and students who were appeared in test can check their results on the official website of the university: www.uop.edu.pk as well as on the official website of NTS www.nts.org.pk. The merit list for the select candidates will be displayed in the related department on 11th November 2015 followed by the last and final merit list that will be displayed on 16 November 2015 while the classes for Master’s degree programme will begin from 26th November 2015.
