Lahore: On Tuesday, University of Health Sciences has issued modified syllabus for MDCAT test 2017. The varsity has also replaced the name MCAT (Medical college admission test) with MDCAT (Medical and Dental Colleges admission test). The new syllabus for MDCAT test has been approved by the Chief Minister of Punjab.
The step of changes in MDCAT syllabus has been taken after the major changes in the syllabus of FSC and A level.

This modified syllabus of MDCAT will meet the criteria for both FS.c and A level students.
As per the sources of specialized health care department, there would be 850 English vocabulary words in the new syllabus rather than 650 words. The new English vocabulary words would be relevant to the Bio-medical sciences. Some topics have also been added in Physics, Chemistry and Biology syllabus.
The sources furthermore said that MDCAT test 2017 would be held on August 27th.
