University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar and the British Council Pakistan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the on-campus training.
Under this agreement, the university of engineering and Technology will associate along with the British Council Pakistan in its project entitled as “Citizen Education and Community Engagement Programme–Active Citizens.” According to the issued press release the country director of British Council Pakistan Peter Upton and the Vice Chancellor of University of Engineering and Technology Syed Imtiaz Hussain Gilani signed this MoU.
The mian objective of this partnership is to execute the British Council’s project at University of enginnering and Technology, Peshawar as non-weighted 3 credit hours certificate course for the undergraduate aspirants and to develop the capacity of the faculty members as organizers by forming on-campus training.
Approximately thirty faculty members of the University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, completed the 5-day training on the project earlier in the month of August.
At the same time, the Department of Computer Systems Engineering at UET Peshawar along with the team of four trained facilitators magnificently completed the first stage of the programme.
