UBIT (KU) wins ProBattle trophy for 3rd time consecutively

Karachi: IBA Probattle, considered as one of the most famous competitions for computer scientists was organized in Karachi by Institute of Business Administration, Karachi. Large numbers of interactive competitions were arranged which were advantageous for the contestants in development of their career.

UBIT Department of University of Karachi (UOK) wins ProBattle for the third time consecutively.

The event was ended on 17th of April (Sunday) after attracting approximately 850 partakers from all over Karachi. This three day event was organized by Computer Science Society of the University. The event organized every year and this time it consisted of total 18 competitions and prize money of 500,000 rupees, bringing in teams from a number of varsities, colleges and schools as well.

The skills of programming, database designs, networking etc. were tested in competition. These matches were also followed by some other very exciting competitions of logic hunt, gaming as well as photography.

Taking the stage by flare-up in IBA ProBattle competiton of this year, UBIT pulled of a hat trick and received the trophy yet again along with their slogan of #WeDidn’tGiveItBack. This is the third year consecutively that UBIT has won this trophy, setting its place as one of the top leading IT universities in the country.
