Faisalabad: The University Of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) appeared as the 16th best university in Asia Pacific and best educational institution in Pakistan as per the QS World University 2017 ranking in the subjects of agriculture and forestry.

It was revealed by the vice chancellor of University of Agriculture Faisalabad Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan on Wednesday while presiding over the deans committee and steering committee meeting of US Pakistan Centre for Advanced Studies in Agriculture and Food Security at the syndicate room.
Presiding the session, Dr Iqrar said in 2016-17, the university has accomplished 665 research projects of worth Rs2.5 billion whereas it has completed 1,001 projects worth Rs 2.3 billion in the past years.

He said that the varsity had developed 101 innovations that will update the economy and make the agriculture zone maintainable, profitable and help open new business opportunities for rural development & prosperity.
