Karachi: Last year in November, Habib University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Stanford University for its prominent Summer International Honors Program (SSIHP). This agreement was targeted at offering a life changing learning opportunity for aspirants of Habib University by providing them access to achieve the educational experience at Stanford University.
Along with this affiliation in place, 8 aspirants from Habib University departed on June 17th, 2016 to take part in SSIHP. The Summer Program hosts academic sensations from the entire world and allow the participants to connect along with the international young intellects. The program is reach over 8 weeks with 250 courses to select from in Engineering, Humanities and Sciences, and Earth Sciences.

SSIHP interlocks the aspirants in dialogue and conversations to promote scientific as well as social relations. The program targets at nurturing diversity. Along with this aim, this year SSIHP is hosting more than 100 aspirants from 20 universities in 14 different states. Pakistan is being represented for the first time ever by the aspirants of Habib University.
The aspirants of Habib University were selected after a hard selection procedure to represent not just Habib University at international forum however to also act as cultural ambassadors of Pakistan. All the students hail from Class of 2018 of various programs at the University. The Pakistani participants at the SSHIP included:
