Karachi: The Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU) conducted the entry test for fall semester of 2016 on Sunday.
Total number of applicants who applied for the admission online was 941 against 250 seats that are available.
Though checking the entry test procedure, the vice chancellor of SMIU, Dr Muhammad Ali Shaikh, said that the large number of aspirants who are interested to get admission in the university is proof that the institute has emerged as one of the best universities in the country or in the province.

“Admissions will be given completely on merit at SMIU,” said varsity’s VC, adding that SMIU is offering quality education to the young generation of Pakistan.
Furthermore, the university provides scholarships to the deserving aspirants and also provides various opportunities of participation in national as well as international leadership programmes.
The interviews of the successful candidates will be organized from August 10th, 2016 till August 13th, 2016 whereas the classes for successful candidates will begin from September 5th, 2016.
