It has been finally decided to reopen the schools after 15th September. The schools in Punjab will be opened from 15th September from class five to matric. It has also been considered to resume the classes of grades one to four in January. Furthermore, the education minister of Punjab, Murad Raas has asked the private schools to submit their recommendations on the opening of schools from 25th August.

According to the plan discussed in the meeting, the half students will come to school one day and the other half will attend the school on an alternative day. However, the social distance has been reduced from 6m to 3m among the students. The school education department has asked the plan from the authorities of private schools to resume the classes.

Murad Raas has directed all the owners of the private schools that the final decision regarding the reopening of the schools will be taken at the meeting held on 7th September.
