School Education Department Makes Important Announcement For Students

The School Education Department has made an important announcement for the students. According to the issued statement, the school education department has ended the policy of passing 100% of students and the students of the government schools will also fail the exam. The option of passing and failing the students has been added to the information system of the school. The students will be now evaluated based on their performance in the exam and will be awarded the number accordingly.

Promotion of Students

After the announcement of the result, every year the online record of the promoted children will be updated. The name of the failed students will be entered in the demote box. According to the earlier policy, all the students were promoted to the next class before the conduction of the annual examination regardless of their performance in the exam. 

The decision of School Education Department

Many teachers have said that this is a good decision taken by the school education department to add the option of failure for the children. Due to the 100% pass policy of the SED, children were not interested in studies and do not study properly. According to the education department, the option has been added due to online data available of students studying in schools across Punjab.
